Restful Lighting Introduces Atmos: A Bedside Lamp Engineered with Healthier Light for Improved Wind‑Down and Wake‑Up Routines
January 6, 2026
San Francisco, CA — Restful Lighting today announced Atmos, a premium bedside lamp designed from first principles around light quality. Atmos brings evidence‑based lighting technologies into a simple, design-forward form factor built for calmer evenings and more wakeful mornings.

Atmos is built with the highest-quality materials, inside and out, including fine glass and an anodized aluminum dial. It will initially be available in two colorways: Off-White/Silver and Black/Brass
Most “smart” lighting prioritizes features, colors, or connectivity. Atmos focuses on the fundamentals that matter: how light affects human health. It delivers carefully-engineered illumination that’s gentler at night and more supportive in the morning, without sacrificing beautiful, usable light.
Atmos incorporates a combination of evidence‑based lighting technologies, including:
- Ultra‑low blue light output for use before bedtime
- Enhanced blue light for energizing mornings
- Superior color rendering for natural, comfortable light, even when reading in dim conditions
- Industry‑leading flicker performance that far exceeds the recommendations of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
The result is a smooth, stable lighting experience that avoids the eye strain and subtle fatigue caused by poorly-controlled LEDs.
Atmos also introduces an adaptive brightness system powered by machine learning. It automatically shifts between daytime and nighttime‑appropriate lighting, learning directly from how you adjust it—meeting you where you are, night after night.

Atmos automatically shifts between energizing, enhanced blue light during the day and dim, blue-depleted light in the evening. Using machine learning, it automatically tailors the lighting schedule to minimize adjustments over time.
“Great lighting shouldn’t require setup, apps, or guesswork,” said Greg Yeutter, founder and CEO of Restful. “Atmos quietly learns how you like your light and delivers it with a superior level of quality.”
Atmos is the flagship product in Restful Lighting’s broader vision to build the Restful Home, where lighting is tailored to respect human circadian rhythms and reduce nighttime discomfort.
Restful Atmos is available for preorder now at restfullighting.com, with initial shipments beginning in March 2026.
