Introducing Atmos, the first product in our ambitious plan to build The Restful Home.

Building on the success of Bedtime Bulb, Atmos is the ultimate bedside lamp. It provides the healthiest light to ease you into sleep and helps you wake up with energizing morning light.

We're bucking the trend of adding ever more features to an alarm clock or building SAD lights that are uncomfortably bright. Atmos is focused on delivering the highest-quality, most comfortable, most appropriate light at bedtime and in the morning.

After three years of painful but rewarding development, I'm proud to finally share Atmos with you.

Atmos constantly shifts in brightness and color, always delivering the most comfortable and healthiest light.

In the morning, Atmos provides energizing white light to help you wake up feeling refreshed.

At night, Atmos emits warm, blue-depleted light to prepare you for Restful sleep.

At the heart of Atmos is a single, beautifully simple control.

Press to wake the light. Turn right to brighten. Left to dim.

Atmos works with an app. It integrates with your smart home. But it doesn’t rely on them.

Because great design should feel effortless, with or without a screen.

No two people experience light the same way. So Atmos adapts quietly, intelligently to your preferences.

Using on-device learning, it observes how you interact with light.

When you dim the brightness before bed, or reach for more light as you read, Atmos takes note.

And over time, it anticipates your needs before you even touch the dial.

The Restful App greatly expands the capabilities of Atmos.

Enabling you to control the mood, remotely adjust your lamp, group multiple lights, or set wake-up and bedtimes with ease.

Prefer voice or automation? Atmos will support Matter, HomeKit, Alexa, Home Assistant, and more, arriving in early 2026.

Atmos is intelligent on its own.

Out of the box, it arrives pre-synced to your time zone.

It wakes you with bright, energizing light. It winds you down with warm, blue-depleted light. All naturally without any additional setups.

And if you prefer total disconnection, Atmos includes Airplane Mode to disable all radio signals completely.

Every detail of Atmos has been refined for a singular purpose: to feel exceptional.

Crafted from premium materials like anodized aluminium and precision-blown glass, it’s a tactile experience. Solid, smooth, and quietly luxurious.

Influenced by Bauhaus principles, Atmos is minimal, honest, and timeless. It belongs anywhere, yet draws attention nowhere.

Atmos is built to last. But if something ever does go wrong, every part, from the glass globe to the dimmer dial, is thoughtfully replaceable.

As Restful's Head of Industrial Design, Louis Filosa brings more than 15 years of experience designing lighting, furniture, and electronics for the world's most respected brands.

Juan led the electronics design and firmware development for Atmos, ensuring the light engine met our extremely high standards. He was instrumental in coordinating the production of the circuit boards through many revisions, and ultimately, to mass production.

“We spent a lot of time optimizing the transition time from one light setting to the next, so that every press and turn of the dial felt appropriate. We reduced flicker using a technique normally reserved for high-end medical and film lighting."

Atmos would not have come together without Ravi. An industrial designer with deep experience in translating design to real products, Ravi worked closely with metal and glass fabrication experts, and he spent countless hours refining the feel of the control dial.

"Every detail of the Atmos hardware was intentional, from the opacity of the glass to the weight of the dial. We wanted interactions to be extremely obvious, filling you with delight when the light responded just as you hoped."
